For over 120 years, Wandsworth Electrical has crafted the UK’s most beautiful electrical accessories and intelligent building controls, found in royal residences, five-star hotels, and iconic spaces around the world. 

Now, we’re looking for the next generation of sales talent to join our team. 

Our 18-month Sales & Commercial Graduate Programme is your launchpad into the world of high-end design, innovation, and smart building technology. You’ll gain the experience, exposure, and confidence to thrive in relationship-led sales, collaborating with architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors to get our products specified and delivered on premium projects, right from the start. 

Programme overview

Duration: 18 months
Based in Woking (25 mins from London Waterloo)
Rotational experience across multiple departments 

  

From day one, you’ll be based at our Woking office, working directly with our London sales team and rotating through key departments, gaining insight, mentorship, and the tools to build a commercial career. 

The Graduate Journey

  • Meet our teams across Electrical, Healthcare, and Smart Buildings 
  • Hands-on training with our premium products and control systems 
  • Learn internal systems and quality processes 
  • Join our commercial team handling B2B enquiries  
  • Support proposals, quotations, and client communications 
  • Understand how we process and deliver high-value orders 
  • Learn how ideas move from concept to market 
  • Work with Innovation and Engineering teams 
  • Participate in testing, prototyping, and voice-of-customer feedback 
  • Support brand campaigns, sample kits, and content creation 
  • Learn how we maintain our premium brand presence 
  • Contribute to brochures, digital content, and events 
  • Shadow field sales across London  
  • Attend CPDs, site visits, and design presentations 
  • Track live projects and assist in sales fulfilment 
  • Own a sales territory or client segment 
  • Build and manage relationships 
  • Set targets and track your performance 
  • Shape your career path with mentor support 

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for final-year students or recent graduates (within two years), from any degree background — though a passion for architecture, design, tech, or commercial work is a great start.

You’ll thrive if you are:

  • Commercially aware with a customer-first mindset 
  • Passionate about design, smart technology, or the built environment 
  • A motivated, proactive, and driven self-starter
