Our Home Selection products

What products do you have?

We have a dedicated range of handcrafted electrical accessories specially selected for your home. You can choose between the sleek, screwless Penthouse collection, or the traditional Square Edge collection. Both collections include a range of sockets, switches and other electrical accessories, and are each available in five different finishes.

 

What finishes are your products available in?

We have two main collections in the Wandsworth Home Selection. Our screwless Penthouse products are available in five finishes – satin nickel, primed to paint, bright nickel, burnished brass, and dark antique bronze. The classic Square Edged collection is available in five finishes of stainless steel, primed to paint, polished mirror, burnished brass, and dark antique bronze.

 

Where are your products made?

All our products are carefully handcrafted in our factory in Woking, Surrey. We have over 100 years of manufacturing expertise and have been making our quality, handcrafted electrical accessories here in Albert Drive since 1952 (although we moved down the road 5 years ago!).

 

What do I need to know for installation?

It is imperative that you have a qualified electrician fit your light switches and sockets. Each item does come with an installation guide, but your electrician should be pretty familiar with how to fit a light switch! It is worth bearing in mind that our products require a back box with a minimum internal depth of 35mm, with the exception of the following items which all require a 47mm internal depth:
1) Shaver sockets
2) All Wandsworth Euromodules
3) Cooker switches
4) USB charger modules (but not our twin switched sockets with USB)
5) All Cat6 RJ45 Data Euromodules

 

Placing an order

How do I order?

Please call us on 0800 288 9000 to place your order. We have a dedicated team of experts on hand to help you with your order and answer any questions you may have. You can also email homeselection@wandsworthgroup.com. Once your order is registered on our system and your payment has been processed, we will send you an email with your order confirmation.

 

Are your products available immediately?

Yes, all products in the Wandsworth Home Selection are in stock and available immediately. Orders will be dispatched on the same day (for orders placed before 12pm Monday to Thursday, or 10am on a Friday) and should be with you the next day. Saturday deliveries are available for an additional charge.

 

Do you have a price list?

Yes, please call our dedicated customer service team on 0800 288 9000 or email homeselection@wandsworthgroup.com for our most up-to-date price list. Our prices reflect our focus on quality and British manufacturing and are competitive in the designer light switch space. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT and delivery charges.

 

Can I order a sample?

Yes, we have small samples of each of our finishes available to help you choose. Simply contact our Customer Service team on 0800 288 9000 or homeselection@wandsworthgroup.com and they will be able to send you samples of the finishes you are interested in.

 

How can I pay for my order?

We will take your order over the phone and accept payment using credit or debit cards. We accept Visa and Mastercard payments, but unfortunately do not take American Express.

 

Can you help me with my order? (Can you advise me on the best products for my house?)

I am a trade customer, how do I order?

Delivery and returns

When will I receive my items?

All the products in the Wandsworth Home Selection are in stock and readily available to be delivered straight to your door. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday will be despatched the same day for next day delivery. Saturday delivery is also available for an extra charge (orders to be placed before 10am on a Friday).
Our trade range of products are manufactured specially to order, with a lead time of approximately 4-6 weeks, and are delivered in component parts. Trade customers should contact our dedicated Trade Sales team on 01483 713400 or email sales@wandsworthgroup.com.

 

What are your delivery charges?

All orders over £500 will be delivered free of charge to UK mainland addresses. For orders below £500, standard ‘next working day’ delivery is available for a flat fee of £9.95. Saturday delivery is available for £18.95. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday will be dispatched the same day for next day delivery. Deliveries for non UK addresses please refer to our specialist Exports department at exports@wandsworthgroup.com or call +44 1483 713400.

 

Can I return items?

We hope that you will be completely satisfied with your order, which is why we have a dedicated team of experts on hand to help ensure you get the right products for your home. However, we recognise that this won’t always be the case and you are able to return items to us if you are not happy them. Please contact our Customer Service team on 0800 288 9000 if there is a problem or you would like to return your order.

Who are we?

We are the Wandsworth Group, a specialist British manufacturer with over 100 years of history and expertise. Established in 1904 in Birmingham, the Wandsworth name is synonymous with quality, design expertise and manufacturing distinction. Where are we based?

We are based in Woking, Surrey, the site of both our Head Office and also our factory, where we manufacture all our products. We were originally established in Birmingham in 1904, moving to Woking in 1952 and our current site in 2013. Our Head Office and factory are now located on the same site on Sheerwater Business Park in Woking, just half a mile from the site we occupied for over 60 years.

 

Where do we manufacture?

We manufacture all our products in our UK factory, located in Woking, Surrey. Wandsworth was originally established in Birmingham in 1904, moving to Albert Drive in Working in 1952. We have been in our current location – just half a mile away from our original factory but still on Albert Drive – in 2013, and still handcraft all our electrical accessories on site.

Your information

To process your order we will need to collect the following personal information from you:
– Your address for delivery
– Your email address – for sending your order confirmation and invoice.
We will also need to take your credit card details to process your payment. We will not enter your credit card information on our IT systems or record them on paper. Your credit card details will be entered directly into a credit card machine. No record of them will be retained by Wandsworth Group.
When we take your order, we will ask you whether you wish to be included in future communications either via email or post. Our communications will be only occasional (e.g. typically no more than once per month) and may include a variety of topics including special offers, events, and interior design & fashion trends. You will have the opportunity to opt out of these communications at any time.
